Founded in 1991 in Paris by Daniel Goldmann, Galerie Omagh is a modern and contemporary art gallery located at 104 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, between the Hôtel Le Bristol and the Palais de l' Elysium. Galerie Omagh offers a personal selection of modern art, abstract art and conceptual art from France or international artists with a strong connection to the country. For more than fifteen years, the Omagh Gallery has also endeavored to permanently present works of New Realism. Contemporary of American Pop Art, and often presented as its French version, New Realism embodies, with Fluxus, one of the many avant-garde trends of the 1960s. This group of artists, some of whom are from Nice, such as Klein, Arman or César, works mainly on the movement, destruction and rearrangement of objects and color.
The Omagh Gallery aims to develop collections for new collectors and experienced collectors, as it wishes to be a privileged place for dialogue between the various artists and avant-garde movements of post-war France. We are proud to have built many long term trusting relationships with collectors around the world. And we believe in respecting fundamental values such as the rigor of expertise and the demand for quality in the acquisition of collector's items. The Omagh Gallery is an expert approved by the European Chamber of Experts in Works of Art and a member of the Nocturne Rive Droite Association.
