Agnès Soustiel

Agnès Soustiel is one of those artists who communicate their vitality in what they do. 

Between Paris, Hyères and Chaumot, her work stems from her attachment to these three spaces. In Paris, amid the creative hustle and bustle, she draws inspiration and develops every day. In Hyères, her childhood town, facing the Îles d'Or, she gorges her ceramics with light and scents of iodine. In Burgundy, in the silence of the countryside, with her hands in the soil, she probes the seasons.

Inspired by the 50s, Agnès Soustiel was dazzled by the creations of Pablo Picasso, Théo Tobiasse, Roger Capron and Jean Lurçat, and invented a bestiary in her own image: joyful, quirky and poetic. Above all, it is authentic.
