Founded in 1991, Galerie Omagh exhibits internationally renowned artists of the 20th and 21st centuries, including figures from Nouveau Réalisme (Arman, César, Yves Klein, Niki de Saint Phalle), abstraction (Georges Mathieu, Chu Teh-Chun) and modern art (Fernand Léger, Bernard Buffet, Alexander Calder). What these artists have in common is an innovative approach, often sculptural or pictorial, with a strong imprint on art history. By placing the work of these leading artists in dialogue, our gallery reveals areas of convergence between practices that span several generations and disciplines.
